Our Story
The Sky’s the Limit has a long and colorful history, and in 2015, Melissa and I became its caretakers. We were drawn here by the store’s energy — the vibrancy, the sense of fun, and the joy it brought to everyone who walked through the door. From that moment, it felt like home.
A little about us: Melissa grew up on a Colorado farm and spent time studying in Europe before returning to the U.S., while I made my way from Houston to Colorado, building a career in retail merchandising. Together, we’ve always loved finding, curating, and sharing items that make people smile. But honestly, it was The Sky’s the Limit itself that captured our hearts, long before we officially became its owners. Today, we feel lucky to call Pismo Beach home and continue the tradition of delighting locals and visitors alike.
